A renewed beginning, still.

I continue on a long, long plateau and I think I believe my skin has caught up to the loss of fat.:) I have lost inches & people are commenting on that but I would like to see that scale take another little drop. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but I have to wait to go south. Then I am setting a goal of water exercises at least 5 days a week and a little cycling in the exercise room 2-4 days a week. This is my winter time goals!! I CAN do it!!

My current losses:
1. 4/1/10 my 1st long term goal has been made of a 50# loss before my goal date of 10/19/10!!!
2. On 7/29/10 I reached my ultimate goal of 67#. (Actually 68#).
3. I am starting on my 2nd long term of another 50#, adding it too my weight tickertape and am setting 7/29/11 as the date again. (This is subject to change!!)

I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ WHAT I'VE LEARNED ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~

I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life goes on, and it will be better tomorrow. emoticon emoticon
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. emoticon emoticon emoticon
I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life. emoticon emoticon
I've learned that making a "living" is not the same as making a "life".
I've learned that life gives you a second chance. emoticon
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands, you need to be able to throw something back. emoticon emoticon
I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. emoticon
I've learned that even if I have pains, I don't have to be one. emoticon emoticon emoticon
I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. emoticon emoticon
I've learned that I have a lot to learn. &gr;em&lr;149&gr;/em&lr; emoticon

I hope that all of us can learn, not only today, but each and everyday!!
~~ One thing I've learned is that in order to have a friend, you have to be one.~~

Wishing you a """Wonderful Weekend"""
Lots of ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) & SMILES!!

Hi Eileen!
Its been awhile since we've talked. I know you must be busy down there making plans to head back north. Must be getting hot in the valley by now, it was in the low 80's up here yesterday. Matt is working on building a deck at my daughter's house, and all of us pitch in and help when we can. It is a huge deck, 46 feet long and 8 feet wide, and she wants a roof over it too, so a big job. The framework is all up, and Matt built the stairway yesterday and we started doing the decking. It's hard to keep the boards straight on that long a deck! It is fun seeing it take shape, though.

We took the RV in to the dealer for work on the leveling system last Monday and they called yesterday and said it was done. That system hasn't worked for months, sure glad that they could get it fixed. We will be going to pick it up on Monday and take it back to Tres Rios for a few days, our friends who we went to visit down in Kerrville are there now, for awhile. Can't wait to see them again. Then, we will take the RV out to our property. We have the house all roughed in, all the walls and ceiling joists are up now. Next we have the plumbing and wiring to finish, and then, it will be time for insulation and then, drywall! At some point we will put kitchen cabinets in. Headed out there today to work a bit, and then, fish dinner at a church in Stephenville with friends.

Take care, and have a good weekend! emoticon

That is so nice to have a yard. You need to take some pics once the flowers are in. I vote for you to move to a warmer area emoticon
