A renewed beginning, still.

I continue on a long, long plateau and I think I believe my skin has caught up to the loss of fat.:) I have lost inches & people are commenting on that but I would like to see that scale take another little drop. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but I have to wait to go south. Then I am setting a goal of water exercises at least 5 days a week and a little cycling in the exercise room 2-4 days a week. This is my winter time goals!! I CAN do it!!

My current losses:
1. 4/1/10 my 1st long term goal has been made of a 50# loss before my goal date of 10/19/10!!!
2. On 7/29/10 I reached my ultimate goal of 67#. (Actually 68#).
3. I am starting on my 2nd long term of another 50#, adding it too my weight tickertape and am setting 7/29/11 as the date again. (This is subject to change!!)

I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

Hi, Eileen........Just got back from Fort Worth and taking the RV in for fixing yet again. When we went to move it yesterday morning, the whole system was dead, not even the front legs would work, so we had to CRANK it up and it was extremely hard! Thank goodness there were some young guys a few campsites down who were having trouble and they agreed to help crank up our RV and we agreed to help them. We finally got it on the truck, then had to manually retract the legs, and that was even hard! When we got it up there this morning, the guru for the system was stumped as to why it wasn't getting any power. He jacked it up by pulling the wires and using a spare battery. I can't remember off the top of my head how many times we have had it in but I would guess about 8 times to this point. If I were you, I would be hesitant too, to buy a new one, especially if all the bugs are worked out of yours! I think Vintage RV's are becoming popular, as I have seen a lot of them come in at Tres Rios, so doubt that yours would ever be denied entrance into a park! We kind of made friends with a full time couple here in the park, who are living in a 2009 Cardinal 5th wheel by Forest River, and he is thinking of trading it in, even though he has had no trouble with it at all. I told him to think carefully because that was worth a lot, but he thinks he wants a new Laredo RV by Keystone, which to me is a step down a few rungs!

So, how many years will it be on September 4th? A massage sounds like a good thing to have that morning. I know you will be glad t get out of MN and on the road to TX after everything that has gone on this summer. What a relief that the house sold so quickly! I hope Steve's place does, too!

We are having some real heat right now, supposed to hit 102 today. This cabin though is set on COLD for the AC...... I had to turn it up a bit last night because I was freezing!

Went over to the sales lot and looked at a used Redwood, but it was really too heavy for our truck. They are nice units though, this one was a 2011 and had the big slide for the bed which included a large closet at the top of the steps. (On your left). Same floor plan as ours except the steps go up on the left instead of the right. emoticon

Oh, when is your Anniversary again? I seem to have forgotten that ours are so close together!

It is the leveling system again, the passenger side rear leg is frozen, it is all the way up and won't go down. I called the manufacturer and the customer service girl tried to talk me through a fix, but it didn't work. She said we would have to take it in and have it looked at. I am kind of looking forward to the week in the park model.

I will definitely pray for you and your health! I hope it is just the dry eyes and the fibromyalgia, instead of the Sjogren's syndrome! I had never heard of it before, but it seems to be pretty common.....huh?

Thanks for praying for Amanda......There are so many people praying for her and it is helping! My prayer list is long, too! emoticon

PS. You're right! The blue is nearly exactly the same! Wonder how that happened? I chose the blue because the type shows up so well on it, but for the typist and the reader! So many pages are so hard to see! emoticon

You asked about Amanda. She just got to feeling better almost 2 weeks after the first dose of Adriamycin, and it was time for dose number 2. She got it and is getting IV fluids twice this week, I guess to make sure that she is well hydrated. She is so brave and tries to keep after the kids, she says the kids and horses help her keep her mind off herself. emoticon
