FIT Before Thirty (formerly, Thin Before Thirty)

I'll be 29 in a week. It gives me a year to make a serious change in my habits.

I'll be likely getting married in the next 1-2 years and I'd love to not be ashamed of how I look in those photos. I expect a slow, steady journey... after all, that's how you win a marathon, no?

I changed my page title to FIT before thirty as I need my mindset to be on health and not my weight/clothing size.

My Goals:
I'd like to wear a bikini for the first time in my life. I want to take dance classes when I reach my goal.

My Program:
I was doing NutriSystem and had a lot of success with the program, but became concerned with the sodium/preservatives in the shelf-stable foods.

Recently decided to transition to a meat-free/least amount of animal products possible diet over the next month of so (from June '07) after I use up what's in the apartment.

Thanks for your response on my question. I eat a lot of oranges during the day as well because I love them and they are a SuperFood. I don't think some of the others completely read my post b/c they keep giving me big breakfasts ideas-which are great, my problem was keeping the food down. Thanks for the idea!

Hi - I was poking around the site and laughed out loud when I saw
your profile photo.

Then I noticed that you and I have basically the same start and goal
weights, I've never worn a bikini either, and I agree with you about
