Welcome to my Sparkpage!

Well I haven't really been around the last few weeks. I found out I am pregnant and until I talk with my doctor, I am just working at maintaining my weight.

I've read a ton of studies about losing weight during pregnancy both for it and against it. I'm just going to follow my doctors advice.

But the fight is most certainly not over! Pregnancy is not a free ticket to pig out, but even more incentive to eat healthy. I just may not be able to trim my calories back.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Stick-To-It Plan~*~*~*~*~*~*

1.) Soda Only on the weekends
2.) Daily, encourage at least 2 other sparkpeople by visiting their sites
3.) Actively Report to my 'ville'
4.) Only fat free snacks after 8pm

Day (8 oz glass challenge) - (# of oz drank)
Tuesday (8 oz) - (8 oz) SUCCESS!
Wednesday (16 oz) - (43 oz) SUCCESS!
Thursday (24 oz) - mission failed
Friday (24oz) - mission failed
Saturday (24 oz) - mission failed
Sunday (24 oz) - (49 oz) SUCCESS!
Monday (32 oz) - (36 oz) SUCCESS!
Tuesday (40 oz) - (51 oz) SUCCESS!
Wednesday (48 oz) - (59 oz) SUCCESS!
Thursday (56 oz) - (56 oz) SUCCESS!
Friday (64 oz) - (70 oz) SUCCESS!

I HATE drinking water, but I also know it's a part of being healthy and losing weight. So I am going to make a progressive challenge. Increasing 8 ozs a day, holding steady on the weekends since I allow myself some soda on those days, and gradually increasing.

I have been heavy my entire life. Only once, about 3 years ago, did I ever have success with weight loss.

I lost 30lbs in about 3 months using Richard Simmon's Foodmover and walking a mile a day. Then I met my husband, fell in love, got married, and a had a baby. The weight is all back and I want it GONE.
