Finding My Potential!

Hello everyone! My name is Jaimie, and I joined SP back in 2007, but I sometimes flounder in my visits to the site. I'm one of the busiest people I know, but also need to stay in shape for my own sanity!

Hello everyone! My name is Jaimie, and I joined SP back in 2007, but I sometimes flounder in my visits to the site. I'm one of the busiest people I know, but also need to stay in shape for my own sanity!

My goal is pretty simple: something like Jessica Biel in Blade Trinity! But it has to be done right, so I'm working my butt off. . . literally! The winter and dreary spring wreaked havoc on me (my choice, of course), and I'm paying for it now. LOL! If anyone else is working at similar challenges, feel free to drop me a line. I'm looking for a buddy in my area!

I'm one who needs a LOT to maintain. Diet without cardio isn't enough. Cardio without diet doesn't do it either. Strength training has to be included, too, or my proportions are . . . not quite right. So, I do it all! At least 1 hour of activity every day, alternating strength training and cardio. Also, I aim for 1500 calories a day, but often do more than that. :0/ What can I say? I LOVE FOOD!

My Goals:

My Program:
Watching very carefully what I am eating by using SparkPeople, and making good choices each day. I'm also doing 1 hour of activity each morning before work (alternating days for weights and cardio) and moderately intense cardio each day possible during my lunch hour for about 30 minutes, but sometimes more if I can.

Personal Information:
I'm orginally from Southern California but am living in Massachusetts now. Its a nice place, but I want more sun during the year! I love the outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, biking, exploring, swimming, boating, motorcycle riding (both dirt and street), rock climbing, and doing all those things in the company of my husband. Unfortunately, he isn't always here because his work demands so much time, so I would like to find a buddy!

Hi JAIMIEGIRL! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for the tips. I'm definitely not going under 1250 cals. I have been going way over my fitness goals so it's time to bump them up to match reality.
