Here we go, here we go, here we go again!

Well, I've fought the "battle of the bulge" all my life. Here I am giving it another go. The thing I finally understand about being in this battle is that this will be something I have to fight for my entire life. So my biggest goal is to realize that I can win but not with instant gratification with slow perseverance! Also not with any fad diet but with healthy food and exercise as a way of life.

My Goals:
My main goal at this point is exercise!! If I cant do anything else right I can still exercise! BABY STEPS!! I've learned that if I jump into a diet or exercise program that is depriving its a total fail. When I do one thing right and give myself praise for that one thing then I have done at least one little something good for me!

My Program:
Walking outside 4 miles per week

to change it up

Just Dance 2 for Wii
Treadmill

80Sit-ups, 80 reverse crunches/Arms and Leg strength training

Vitamins -
B12,

Magnesium,

Probiotic

Green smoothies Daily 4-5 times per week

Personal Information:
I started concentrating on getting fit around Christmas 2010. All I did was start playing Just Dance 2 for wii and so far I've lost 10 plus pounds. Without even trying I realized how sedentary my life was . So my first step was committing to exercise only . SMALL STEPS CREATE HUGE CHANGE! Now I'm incorporating a healthy diet and I'm loosing slow and steady.

I'm from the great state of Texas. A little town that not many people know of.
I love to sketch, it helps with the stress of everyday life, not to mention I'm pretty decent at it. Love plants, reading, my kitty and all animals.

I've also begun to take an interest in the environment, organic foods and other significant studies in how we should be living and what we should be putting into our bodies. I am 100% against artificial sweeteners!!

Crazy that watermelon has potassium, right? I only know because low potassium is a root-cause of high blood pressure...which I have. :)
