UPDATE January 21,2016 Back again to try to get to pre-baby3 weight and maybe, eventually, to pre-pregnancy weight. Now that most of my health issues are fixed, under control, or being monitored, I am back to regular exercise and calorie counting. UPDATE August 26, 2012. I am back! I had baby Caleb on May 18, 2012. I had a lot of complications during the pregnancy, some problems during the c-section delivery, and severe complications following. I had to see 9 doctors in the span of 2 months and was hospitalized for a week with 2 other trips to the ER. After being told by several (at least 5) doctors that it is a miracle that I am alive and have no lasting damage from what happened - I am determined to change my life. I have re-dedicated myself to my God, my husband, and my children. I have changed my business - now a professional photographer instead of running a craft business. I am also doing a lot of charity work and helping others. Now I need a new physical me to match the mental/emotional/spiritual me. I gained a lot of weight with my last pregnancy and was unable to get it off until now because of the health problems I have had. I don't have a lot to lose, but I need to get back in to my healthy habits. I know SparkPeople can help me do it!!! UPDATE 9-19-2011 - We have found out that we are expecting! After over a year of trying, Baby #3 should arrive in May of 2012!!! Needless to say, My weightloss journey is on pause. I am sure SP will be a huge help once the baby arrives and I need to drop the weight... God Bless!!! (note - I joined BabyFit while I was pregnant) Previously... I decided recently that I needed to make a change. I wasn't happy with how I looked or felt. Every time I looked in the mirror and saw how I looked, I was reminded of the reasons I had gained weight (miscarraige, death in the family, stress over graduating college). I finished college, graduating with honors, and wanted to start a new path in life. I wanted to put those memories behind me and focus on the positive. I wanted to feel better and look better. I saw an article on Yahoo that mentioned SparkPeople. Since it was free, I checked it out... Since starting SP the end of May, I have realized that there was more to me that needed to be changed... I am enjoying my journey of losing weight, learning healthy habits, and getting in shape. I am also learning how to be more positive, feel better about myself, and de-stress my life. I know that by the time I reach my goal weight, I will be a different person. Today is the first step toward the rest of my life!
