I am married to my wonderful husband of over 20 years. We have two boys, two grandchildren, two dogs and several chickens. We enjoy the outdoors and love to go camping, hunting, and fishing. We are also huge New Orleans Saints fans. I also enjoy photography, hiking and genealogy. I am actively involved in my church and serve in our women's ministry.

I started running about 2 years ago through the encouragement of my best-friend and have a love-hate relationship with it. However, I just completed my first half marathon. That's something that I never dreamed I could do. Even though I still have a lot more weight to lose, 50 pounds to be exact, I am healthier than I was 2 years ago. I will get there.
