Changing my life 5 pounds at a time!

I turned 30 in June, I have wonderful little ones, a husband I adore, great friends, and a supportive family, so now is the time. For most of my life I have put off being healthy, "well, I am happy", "I am sick", "I am", was always followed by a reason. No more, "I am kicking unhealthy out!". I am done being the pleasantly plump friend, it is not pleasant. I am done with the back pain that comes from carrying 50 pounds extra on my frame. And this journey so far has shown me that I need to ...

And this journey so far has shown me that I need to add a new phrase to my collection like "I can", " I can lose the weight", "I can be the fit and fabulous friend!"

I do realize you haven't touched your page in a year or so but I wanted to say I came across it and you inspired me when I needed it the most! I turned 30 last month and found out my chronic fatigue was caused by elevated EBV levels all. the. time. One year without answers and the reality of fighting this never ending battle has finally has sank in. BUT...Your story has inspired me. I can fight through this and reach my goals. It will be long slow course but hey life is meant to be enjoyed slowly. Thanks for sharing your story. emoticon

Hello and welcome back ...if your back that is. I am still working on getting things are but I am been soo busy and exhausted these last 3 weeks trying to get back into the routine of work and school that working out hasn't been the biggest priority. however I do try to focus on my food and I walk as much as I can (one of the benefits of taking transit and having classes on the border of campus). Anyways congrats on your victory. I am still trying to get to my lowest ever (outside of grade school ofcourse). good luck and keep up the great work.

Thank you for your comment! And I totally recommend ANY type of plastic surgery to feel better about things you cannot change...it's amazingly liberating!
