One Day at a Time!

I need to lose weight for my health. My family is worried about me and so am I. I want to be alive to enjoy grandchildren someday. I first joined Spark People in 2012, when I was out of work and had plenty of time to exercise and prepare healthy meals. Personal Information:
I am currently a preschool teacher. I have been married since 1990 and have 2 incredible children. I lost 60 pounds with Spark people in 2012 and plan to do it again. My body did not hurt like this, when I was 60 pounds lighter.

Other Information:
I title my page "Queen of Best Intentions" because that is me to a tee. I used to buy many different diet pills to try, exercise items, etc. with every intention of using them, but I don't or give up very quickly.

Hi Jackie,

Your response to a recent blog by SHORTSTORY really touched me. I also express myself better in print than in words. That's why SP is so helpful to get me out of my shell and realize there are good people out there who want to support me. Perhaps you can talk with your DH and help him understand that receiving support from others does not mean that you need or value him less.
