I've been working for about a month on changing my kitchen to a healthy kitchen. Working also on the way I food shop. Geting use to eating 3 meals a day and 1 snack. Cutting my carbs snacks to healthier ones. I just finished 5 wks of Diabetic Classes at my hospital. I've joined the YMCA next week I'll be going to 3 days of group exercise and I hope to put in 2 days of swimming at the Y too.
I have heart disease after several heart attacks I now have a pacemaker/defibrillator since 2008. I have had Lupus since 1997 stayed active for 4 years, went into remission. Active lupus again 2005 for 6months, remission again. I'm in a lupus flair as I write this as of yet I'm not in active lupus (thank God) as a precaution doc put me on Prednisone hope to get off them soon. I now also have Hep C and have some type of disease of my liver doc has not found out yet still running tests.
I have a lot to live for and want to live longer, one thing about having diabetes it will make you take care of yourself for your in the drivers seat and what direction you go in is all up to you and your hard work to live with this disease and not let it take you down.
I feel God is making me work for my life for so far its the only disease I have that I now have to work on every day of my life. Life is a blessing that I enjoy having, don't we all?
