My wellness journey

I started this journey in August of 2007 (before joining SP in October). Since then I have lost about 55 lbs total and feel much better! Wearing a size 12-14 and a medium, which is the first time in a long time! Doing this to get healthy and avoid diabetes.

Hi:
That is very great news about losing. For your back make sure you have enough Calcium and squats while having your back by the wall will help. I have the same problem. Keep up the great work that you started! Rachelyne emoticon

Thanks for visiting my page. I never thought I'd be one to attempt the C25K plan and let me tell you, running slowly for even 30 seconds was hard for me at first. I'm currently up to 3 minutes and honestly, I'm a little shocked at my own progress! If you're curious about it, I recommend taking it slowly and adding small increments, maybe 10 seconds at a time. Good luck!!

Thanks for the comment. You are doing a great job yourself. Aren't those small spurts of running a GRAND thing to be able to do? I do that too and love the fact that I can. Its the first thing I brag about. Yesterday, i chased my 5 year old grandson clear across a little strip mall and I didn't even breath hard. Lets keep up the good work. emoticon

Thanks for the comment on my blog. Funny you said that cuz that is exactly what one of the race officials said to me...that the people who slept in were the ones who came in last.
