This Needs to Stop

To be honest, this is my third time trying SP. I'm hoping I can get myself together and do this. I get frustrated with myself very easily and have a bad habit of giving up. This time it won't happen, because I have to do this.

I believe I have a food addiction. I'm a compulsive emotional overeater. I can't stop once I start. A few years ago, I went from obese to being in my normal weight range. Within the past year I've been creeping back up. If you are looking at my BMI, I'm considered overweight, slowing getting back to that obese range.

It needs to stop now. I feel horrible about myself, both physically and mentally.

My Goals:
I would like to get back to my Weight Watchers goal weight of 120. But right now I'm shooting for 135.

My Program:
I'm going back to coutning WW points, they seemed to have changed the program, but they are still counting points, so I'm back to that. I'm a vegetarian working my way towards veganism. It's a slow process.

I Exercise M-Thurs and Saturday. Mon-Thurs is water fitness, Saturdays is Spin class. I take Water Tai Chi and another class that is part strength and part cardio.

If you are not familiar with the author Geneen Roth, you should hunt down her books as she deals with emotional eating. Also check out Judith Beck for strategies on dealing with eating.

We all need help in things we do and don't do. It is good you are hear with SparkPeople. I am new and I am not giving up this time either. We can do this together.
