My name is Ashley Im 22 just got divorced! I have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old little girl.Im ready to lose weight and change my life. I need a buddy to help we with my weight loss goals. Im motivated and just needs a little encouragement! I have been watching what I eat and working out on my lunch break and have lost about 20 pounds in 2 months! When I started this I was 199 and now im 179! I would love to weigh 135-140!

Welcome to spark! You have come to the right place, as there are many tools that can aid you as you work toward your goal.

Search sparkteams to find a team of people with similar goals and situations. Use the nutrition track to loge everything you eat- the good, the bad, and the ugly. It can be an eye opener as to what you are actually consuming. My favorite tool on the site.

You might want to check Coach Nicole's free video here on the website: Desk Workout. You might be able to incorporate one or two of the moves every hour or two.

I have always chosen pretty healthy foods. The nutrition tracker helped me realize how much I was actually eating. By cutting my calories about 250 / day from what I was eating, I have been able to lose weight. I have found that increasing my exercise has been the most important factor for me. The exercise has been key in getting my cholesterol under control. Even if I eat 500-600 fewer calories from what I used to, I don't seem to lose weight. The smaller decrease combined with exercise has been a winner for me.
