I'm Ivonne

Maintaining healthy habits in a society that pushes not-so-healthy habits in your face all day long is one heck of a challenge.

* to be fit and healthy so that I can LIVE my life rather than just EXIST in it, and so that I can care for (and keep up with) the ones I love.

Overall, I want to be the best me I can be, and that is a work in progress.

Professionally, I work in the world of corporate wellness programs. When I'm not doing what I do for a living, I'm working on becoming more involved in self-esteem/self-confidence work with girls and women. Recently I co-facilitated my very first Dove Self-Esteem Workshop for Girls in Tempe, AZ and it was a huge learning (and humbling) experience.

And when I'm not doing that, I'm completing my credits toward a post-baccalaureate teaching certificate so that I can teach English as a Second Language to foreign adults pursuing careers in healthcare fields in the United States.
