10/31/2014 - A Glimpse into My World:

I've been overweight/obese since I was a kid, which has certainly affected my life in a generally negative way.

I've missed out on a lot of great life experiences because of my weight.

I've made a lot of excuses about my weight and generally avoided doing a lot of things and going a lot of places that would have been fun. That is quite sad and it is something I regret greatly.

I've been overweight/obese since I was a kid, which has certainly affected my life in a generally negative way.

I've missed out on a lot of great life experiences because of my weight.

I've made a lot of excuses about my weight and generally avoided doing a lot of things and going a lot of places that would have been fun. That is quite sad and it is something I regret greatly.

I recognize that nothing is going to change unless I doing the CHANGING.

For me, foods such as pretzels and chips are my downfall.
But candy and ice cream and cookies and going back for seconds and eating on the run are all contributors to my obesity.

I don't believe that "weight by a date" is necessarily a healthy type of goal to make but I do think that more general goals with squishy dates are OK.

To that end my goals are as follows:

To be in the 116-118kg range around the beginning of 2015.

To be in the 106-109kg range when the local reservoirs open back up for boaters in March 2015.

To be in the 96-100kg range when we go on Summer vacation.

To be in the 92-95 kg range when the kids go back to school.

To be in the 88-90kg range around Thanksgiving 2015.

I believe this is attainable.

Current Status:
ITSMATT ate what I wanted today. Didn't do terribly badly. Walking for an hour tonight on the treadmill to help offset some of the desserts I enjoyed. Good day with family!

Thank you for the support Matt! Being open and vulnerable is very difficult for me but I know the more I expose myself the more I will get from life. You're right about how getting stronger and losing more weight will make huge differences. Have a great weekend friend!
