The All about ME Part!

Sooo since I have started over "AGAIN" maybe I should start over in THIS part of the site.

I moved to Fl from MD in May 2008. There is a LOT of stress here :(. I miss MD and my friends there but am working on enjoying HERE, and NOW, am lucky to have some friends from High School & my old neighborhood living down here....but they are over an hour 1/2 away. In the time I have been here I found an AMAZING doctor who has found the key to what has made losing weight soo difficult for ...

(well not the losing so much as the KEEPING it off) Now that we have found the "key" maybe we can find the LOCK it fits in and FIX it :)

Today is what matters, today is where I get to start over. Today is a GOOD day as I somehow found ENERGY that I have bee missing the last few months.

And maybe Today is the day WE meet and get to support each other.

My Goals:
Continue my progress with training for the 5k in Oct.

Work on building endurance on the elliptical by doing at least 5 min a day for the month of February

Lose 10 lbs by May 1st. (by keeping up with my nutritional and fitness goals)

Watch more carefully the sodium intake (eat MUCH less "processed foods")

My Program:

Using this site HELPS!!

So many valuable resources. and awesome support.

Jan 1 couldn't run 11 seconds at a time, Feb 1 running 3 one minute intervals, Feb 3 running 4 one minute intervals!! (aiming to make those 4 intervals into 2 minute ones the same slow way I got to the full one minute)

Personal Information:
From the Baltimore area of MD, (actually between Baltimore and Annapolis) I miss it but am starting to find areas around here I can enjoy.

Other Information:
Sometimes along the way to our dreams/goals we get derailed and find a BETTER dream/goal. (would like to say I came up with this but I saw something along the same lines on a notebook in a grocery store)

This is my second time on spark people. Now I just connect with others, notate the exercise but not the food, it was taking lots of time and I said phooey!

I just wanted to reach out to you as I'm in central Fl too! I moved here from VA in 1995. Never has felt like home! We have 3 dogs 5 chickens 4 birds and 2 fish!
