Hello Spark People!!! Welcome to my page. Currently I am 5'4 149lbs but I tend to bounce back and fourth between 149-154. I was 184 at the worst point in my life over and then I got sick and went down to 143. I was very dehydrated though. Part of why I got so sick was because of my bad eating habits. Because of my lack of vital nutrients that you get from eating healthy foods, my immune system was compromised and my resistance was low ): Now two years later I am healthy and hydrated again and trying to lose or maintain my weight. To me 149 isn't bad at all but I'd rather get within the healthy ranges that the calculator said I should be within. I am going to school to become a registered nurse and I don't want to be a unfit/unhealthy nurse. I currently work as a nursing assistant while I'm in school full time and I figured I need to make sure I'm taking care of myself if I'm going to be taking care of other people.I am really excited to open up this new chapter in my life. It is bringing about lots of positive things that I am able to spread to others. This is a journey, I will say that but I have high hopes. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has been motivating me. Some people think I'm crazy for being so into this but those are the same people who are not willing to even take a step toward improving their lifestyle. With that said GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ON YOUR JOURNEY TO A NEW HEALTHIER YOU!!!

Fitness Minutes: 1,218

My Goals:
~Lifestyle change: No fast food only home cooked/prepared meals until I know for sure how to fully manage what I'm taking in and can be successful at it. In the future I will treat myself but for right now I have to stay focused. I feel so much better these days with no fast food. ( I was a fast food junkie).
~ Fruits or veggies with every meal no matter what.
~ Work on eating something every two hours to maintain blood sugar. I am not diabetic I suffer from hypoglycemia (low blood sugars). I don't always feel hungry and when my sugar drops it happens really fast.
~No soda I just work better that way lol
~at least 5 cups of water a day!
~Workout!!!!!!!! I have to. I tried to avoid it but I'm stronger than I thought I was.
~one day wear a 2 piece (:
Thats all for now but as soon as I put this up I'll probably think of some more goals.

My name is Ashley, I am 24yrs of age. I am going to school for nursing and loving it so far. I love doing different things, I'm a very adventurous person. Most people think of me as outgoing and the one that will make them laugh (yes, I am that girl!) (: I kind just like to see where the wind blows me in life as long as I have accomplished what I had planned first.


Other Information:
I love love love movies. It doesn't really matter what it is as long as its not one of those spoof comedies I really don't like those. Reading is not really my thing but when I do read I'm into Emily Dickerson, Hawthorne, As a man thinkth, Poe is always good really never a miss with him, Stowe, Langston Hughes, too many to name. Like I said I'm not a big reader but when I do I really like these writers.
