Getting Fit and Healthy for Life

I joined SparkPeople in January 2009. I even signed the Membership Card and Pledge and taped it to my desk to look at every day. It's still there!! It was a promise to myself "to make healthy and positive choices so that I can live a healthy lifestyle and reach my goals."

Through the last three years, I have made mostly healthy and positive choices for myself. However, I do backslide often. So....I'm back to SparkPeople again and I intend to stay with it!

I would encourage YOU to just stick with what works for you and make it a habit. Don't give up....even if you mess up! Remember, quitters never win!

I had to look up Isagenix to see what you were talking about :) You should put before and after pics up. Let me know how it works out. I'm just about ready to have surgery if i can't get rid of this weight. I really don't want to do that if i can help it, but something got to give. It has been way to long for me as well. I wanted to stop by and say emoticon to the team. I believe you will find this a great way to be healthier and reach the goal of completing a 5K. Be sure to introduce yourself to the team and ask any questions you might have along the way.

It looks like you have already done a 5K. Do you have new goals for another one?
