On my way to a healthier life

I have finally decided to turn over a new leaf in my life. I have decided to give up my dependence on food and start being healthy.

My starting weight is 238# and I would like to end up at 130#. I have some smaller goals listed here to help me along my journey:

Goal 1. 230#-Baby steps. One day at a time.
Achieved: 08/21/2010

Goal 2. 220#-Once I get here, I know I can keep going!
Getting past 225# is ...

Achieved: 08/21/2010

Goal 2. 220#-Once I get here, I know I can keep going!
Getting past 225# is a BIG deal for me.
Achieved: 10/06/2010 & again on 03/29/2011

Goal 3. 215#- Just keep swimming.
Achieved: 11/25/2010 & again on 5/24/2011

Goal 4. 200#-Hello 100+ pounds. It's been awhile.
Goodbye 200+!
Achieved: 07/15/2011

Goal 5. 190#-Almost lost half the pounds I no longer
need. Just 60 more to go!
Achieved: 03/14/2012

Goal 6. 180#-Once I reach this, I will no longer be
"Obese", just "Overweight" ^_^
Achieved: 06/12/2012

Goal 7. 170#-Getting away from "Borderline Obesity"
and running toward "Healthy Weight" ^_^
Achieved: 07/17/2012

Goal 8. 160#-Well la-dee-dah. Only 30 pounds left!
That's 2/3 of the way done. I'm definitely
gonna get the rest of this weight off!

Goal 9. 150#-Hey! Here I am at my high school weight!
Now I can wear my favorite pair of jeans
again!

Goal 10. 140#-So close to the finish line....I can just see it
on the horizon.....

My Goals:
I just want to lose weight and be healthy. I have an end goal of 140lbs, but I have set smaller more attainable goals for now. My current goal is to get down to 215. 3 lbs down, 20 to go!! 02/18/10
Currently at 223.8, so 8# left until I reach my first goal! 10.23.10

My Program:
Right now, I am trying just to eat better. I need to change my eating habits first before I tackle anything else because that is my biggest issue right now. So far, so good ^_^ 02/18/10
Eating habits have gotten better ^_^ So excited that I know I can do this if I really really try! 10.23.10

Personal Information:
I am a nurse, working 7pm-7am at my local hospital. I love my job and I am proud of what I do.
