Finally Getting Some Answers
2012 was a year of twists and turns. I finally received a firm diagnosis of bipolar disorder, type 2 and anxiety disorder. I was also diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and a hormonal imbalance. It all led to a bevy of new medications, several of which tend to make one gain weight. As a result, I put on an additional 15 lbs. I'm just thankful that was all. This year it is my goal to finally make some real progress, if for no other reason than to eliminate the complications my weight ...

My name is Marla and I have lived in Tennessee all my life, aside from three months in Louisiana and two months in South Korea. I am 30 years old and am married to a wonderful man and am a mother to a 4 year old daughter. I suffer from both generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder, as well as bipolar disorder, type 2. These things make the goal of weight loss difficult in that I am an emotional eater, but I am trying my hardest to reign this in.
