Change can be such a great thing. There have been so many exciting (and sometimes frustrating) changes 4 me in the last few years. I'm 54 yo, recently divorced, bought my first home, married off my daughter, became a "step"-nana to an 8 yo all since November. I try very hard 2 be positive. I want to "live til I die" Don't want to sit around and waste my life. But with ADD, episodic depression and a life-time of emotional eating sometimes I feel like I'm moving in circles instead of ...
But with ADD, episodic depression and a life-time of emotional eating sometimes I feel like I'm moving in circles instead of forward. Doesn't mean I'm hopeless, just somewhat of a "project". But then I'm happiest when I'm working on a project. It would be so wonderful if I could hook up with a "sparky" buddy to join me on this new exciting journey. I'm more than a bit overwhelmed at the moment but maybe we could be overwhelmed 2gether.

Hi Irishizzzz!
We both joined around the same time, and we both have lost four pounds. Let's keep it going together!
We're on our way! emoticon

Welcome to the Horse Lover's Teams (I am a member of both also). So glad you found us. What great pictures...beautiful children. Do you compete in agility also? I am thinking of putting my Aussie in it but finding the time is about impossible for me. I know he would like it, though.

I raise cutting horses and breed about 15-20 mares a year. Only having 12 foals this year with one more to go.

You have come to the right place for support and motivation. Also for sharing wonderful horse stories. I look forward to getting to know you.

Good luck on your journey!
Nic

Look great on a horse! The changes you describe are the stressful ones--the ones we didn't want to see, for the most part! Though marrying off our kids can be fun.

I hope you'll read lots in the motivation and also in the wellness articles. They're really helpful--and maybe try some new things, like meditation! Exercise is a brain changer, too--great for depression--so that should help.

Blessings to you. Please let me know when I can help!!
