October 2008 - 185 pounds. My husband, two sons, and, yeah, two MORE dogs. That's Maggie and Ben.

I'm raise sheep, train dogs, and homeschool in North Carolina. I'm on a long term journey to change my lifestyle and health direction. I have two kids, a flock of sheep, ducks, and tons of dogs (just don't ask - lol!)

My Goals:
I have some health issues that need to be resolved first, but eventually would like to get back to running and hiking daily. Meanwhile I'm just controlling food intake and trying to change some eating habits, to lose weight, a lot of it.

My Program:
I'm mostly working with Weight Watchers. But I've already found a lot of help here with particular issues, exercise ideas, and recipes (yum!).

I'm not allowed to do a lot of aerobic exercise at the moment, so I'm focusing on core and strength training. I love pilates!

Personal Information:
I'm in Semora, NC, just a few miles south of the VA border.

Hello and Welcome to Sparks. Your in the right place. You will learn so much with the info here and meet others willing to give you support and encouragement. Don't let this place overwhelm you. We all had to ask questions when we first started so ask if you need help. I have been here 15 months and find it very useful. Find a team that will meet your needs and make sure to post everyday. That will help you stay accountable. I hope your journey here will be a blessing to you.
