My Goals:
My goals are to continue to eat primally, listen to my body, experiment with doing a "leptin reset", take quality sleep seriously and move at a comfortable pace. Also to push myself to embrace life and the people I find along my path.



My Program:
Update 1/2012:
Eat primally - no grains, no sugar

3 meals, no snacking

take sleep seriously and allow for plenty of it

30 minutes of cardio 6x/wk

later to add a lifting day and a sprinting day, but not yet... trying to do the leptin reset and am content with walks and the stationary bike for now!

Stay active on Spark People for motivation!

UPDATE JULY 2011:

After hitting plateau after plateau, I realize that the scale might not move, but that doesn't mean I should stop moving! My shape is changing regardless of what the scale says. So, to that end, my "program" has consisted of trying all kinds of things. I just recently got hooked on HIIT -style workouts and worrying less about more cardio ... that will come, but I tend to get overwhelmed and quit, so I am taking that one day at a time.


Other Information:
Turned 45 in February! After many false starts, I think I am truly sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have been an eater of healthy whole foods for a few years, but haven't paid much attention to portion size or EXERCISE! Now is the time! I feel like my mind is in the right place ... slow and steady wins the race :-)
