Perkisizing For A Revolution, Not Just Resolutions!

Hey workout junkies and buddy heavyweights :) welcome to my page and to my ongoing struggle with weight and everything related. It's a new year and time for a revolution, not just resolutions. My friend/workout buddy suggested that I join this site and in an effort to stay dedicated to her and our mission of losing the tires around our waists and hams hanging from our arms I have followed her advice.

My Goals:
Goal 1) April 20, 2013; down 30 pounds for a Chi Omega reunion.

Goal 2) June 8, 2013; down 50 pounds for my friend's wedding and my first time as a bridesmaid.

Goal 3) July 4, 2013; down 60 pounds for the 4th of July and a cute new outfit.

Goal 4) October 31, 2013; down 70 pounds and at my goal weight of 127. Excited to go out and pick a fun costume :)

Goal 5) December 29, 2013; down to my goal weight of 127. Fitting into my gold dress for New Years and celebrating my birthday, finally not worried about my weight.

My Program:
Beginning January 2, 2013 I will be changing my routine completely from zero/very little activity to a minimum of 5x a week working out and eating clean. There are a few programs I would like to try and they include; P90X, Couch to 5k, Running 365 miles in 2013 (one mile per day); Running one 5k race per month, Jillian Michaels weight loss program.

Other Information:
Trying to read a book a month (at the very least) so if you have any suggestions please let me know :)

Challenge accepted on the jumping jacks...I'm such a competitive person that I will push myself to the limit to get more lol. Keep up the good work, and move your body. emoticon

Welcome to Spark and the Columbus team!

I hope that you get involved with the Columbus team; we're a pretty active bunch. If you're a runner(walker), hiker, or biker we're your crew. Hope you can join us for an event sometime.

Quite a few of us are currently training for the 5K or Half-Marathon on May 1st; give it a thought.
