500-999 SparkPoints 683

Back in 2008, I adventured out to Montana. Looking to get back down to this weight and beyond.

A few good motto's to live by.

You've gotta be able to laugh. Here's a nod to one of my favorite movies, Heavyweights!

Hey workout junkies and buddy heavyweights :) welcome to my page and to my ongoing journey. When I started on SparkPeople, I was focused on losing weight for a wedding. Then there was a bachelorette party...a high school reunion...then a college reunion...and another few bridal events for friends. As you can tell from my blogs and check-in's this process has been a long one and the years have certainly zipped by.

The weight is still here, but my mindset has changed. I'm more focused on getting back to the smiling girl on the left (profile pic), then reducing the numbers on the scale. Hopefully by developing a healthy relationship with food and exercise, I can find her again. She's in there, she's just tired of starting over. Here's to dedicating to the journey, believing in one another and focusing on our goals. Cheers!

My Goals:
1. Become dedicated and committed to a healthy lifestyle.

2. No longer use the term "comfort food" literally.

3. Commit to my goals for an overall healthy lifestyle, instead of focusing on the scale so much.

4. Be happy in the progress I am making and know that I am doing my best.

5. Put in the effort and work, so that my new year's resolutions do not need to include weight loss (for once).

6. This struggle has been present (on and off) since I was in third grade. 20 years - are you serious!?!?!?

My Program:
1. Focus on the kitchen as much as I am focusing in the gym.
- Eat every 3 - 4 hours
- No processed sugar, flour, wheat, etc.
- No fast food including Chipotle.
- 1 gallon of water each day.
- Try to go veggie and stay away from modified corn.

2. Fitness
a) Complete Kayla Itsines' 12 week program
b) Complete Danny Jones' 16 week program
c) Complete one round of P90X (90 days)
d) Train for my second marathon at Disney.
