I am 67 years old. According to my birth certificate. But every test I've taken to supposedly determine my biological or fitness or whatever age says that I am like a much younger person.

I am on no medication which is not that common at my age. I am planning a good year, currently working on MY new year resolutions. Once I figure them out, I will put them in a blog.

I love this quote: "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is." - Albert Einstein.

About running: "Some people create with words or with music or with a brush and paints. I like to make something beautiful when I run. I like to make people stop and say, 'I've never seen anyone run like that before.' It's more than just a race, it's a style. It's doing something better than anyone else. It's being creative."- Steve Prefontaine

Where are you planning to watch the marathon when you're in NYC? I have a friend who lives along the route...5th Avenue and 118th. Its right on ground level. She does a marathon gathering. Lots of fun and great people. You could also head into Central park from there if you plan on meeting your wife at the finish line.

We'll talk, but just wanted to put this info out to you. Enjoy your xcountry trek. emoticon
