Hiiiiiiiii! so 25w5days for you? how exciting!! How are you feeling? everything going well?

Our little one is called Madeline Poppy, she was born on the 2nd December at 8.32am, so is now 2 months old. Her birth weight was 6lbs 7 oz, and she was 50cm long, with a full head of hair. The labour was apparently a record for the hospital, 1hr 38 mins from first full on contraction (1cm dialated) to delivery of the placenta. DH nearly missed it!
I ended up not having any pain releif other than gas and air, but that only arrived for the final push (of the 3 it took to get Maddy out), but had no tears or stitches so recovery has been quite fast. The Midwives apparently told DH that I am bult to have babies?! and that for the next preganacy we are a serious rick of non-attended delivery as the whole thing was so fast we are unlikely to make it to the hospital, so he should do some sort of course on how to deliver the baby and keep everyone safe till help arrives!!
