I have been here on SP a few years, I have not had any major weight loss but this site has really helped me to stay focused on what I eat and how much exercise I take.
When the scale creeps up I start tracking my food, I like to exercise and track what I do every day. My main exercise is walking with my dog and running; I also try to go swimming once a week. I would like to join the gym again but find it expensive for the amount of time I use it.

I like to read, mainly contemporary fiction.
I do a little knitting, mostly in the colder months and potter in the garden when it warms up.

I have about 15 pounds to lose in total but my first goal is to lose 5 pounds.

Thanks for the goodie & checking in with me. Glad to hear you are back in the gym. I'm just living life more in real time and less in cyber time. Still working hard & eating right. Like you said, it's always a work in progress....and always will be. Its not that I don't want to be on here as often, its more like I don't need to...if that makes any sense at all. Just in a better place in my life...physically, mentally, emotionally....than I have been in awhile. But, no worries, I'll never be too, too far. As always, keep on keepin' on!!!

No family but saw son+daughter by skype and phoned my mum, glad your daughter is having a good time the world is small with skype and computers.
Yes did parkrun on Sat that was my 3rd one did a PB but still slow 37.05 I am keeping active and have signed up for 5% challenge which will take me to the end of May when I have a holiday booked for Barcelona.Up to Warrington for a long weekend on the 11th as Marisa will be 2 so will be lovely to see them . Need to keep this granny active and healthy (7lbs less would be great)race ya :) emoticon

Thanks for visiting and comments on my blog. Marisa is a proper little person now. The heel pain has been niggling for a little while but I am becoming more aware of it. I think I have been running a bit more but also jumping Jacks. The fitter I try and get the more little health problems crop up. Must be my age. By the way hope all is going well with your daughter, do you have much contact with her ?
