Thank you sweetheart for the nice comment on my page. I'm always thrilled when I meet someone I have so much in common with! I never "friend" anyone here unless I'm really interested in getting to know them. I think working on a knitting project together would be fun! I think I'd rather wait a month though if you don't mind. I'm working on two cross stitch projects at once right now and they should be done next month some time. One is a lion for my husband. He's a Leo and loves to have me make things for him. The other picture is entitled "Day Surrendering to Night" and will have to be a surprise. I'll show them in a blog when I'm done. Well, I figured that P.E. Island and Avonlea would HAVE to have at least changed from when Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote the Anne books, but as you put it so well; they're in our souls in her wonderful books and characters.
I love the phrase Magic is Afoot! Do you mind if I use it too?
It's so positive and happy and true! Thank you for picking me as your new friend. I'm honored! 1749 days ago
Thank you very much for the friend add! I've added you to my page as well. I was sorry to see that we're meeting right after a sad loss in your life, and I understand the pain of it very well. On my photo page there is a picture of a cream colored dog with a white cat next to him. The dog was Baby whom I lost on July 6th two years ago. The kitty; Scoober Doo died this January of kidney disease too. I know that your pain will ease over time and just the beautiful memories will remain.
I'm a woods walker myself, a knitter (among other things) and try to fit a little yoga in too. I notice that you're living in Nova Scotia? My very favorite book of all time from when I was a child is the Anne of Green Gables series. So I have Nova Scotia thoroughly romanticized in my mind. Now you get to either feed into it or dispel it completely! Lol!
