It's all in my head -- and a little on my hips :)
I have a tendency to over think things and make them more complicated than they have to be. It is no different with my weight loss journey. So, I have decided to stop thinking and just do it. By changing my thinking I hope to change my behavior, and thus change my results. I intend to share my journey so that I am more accountable for my actions and hopefully inspire others. My Goals:
My goal is to take it one step, one day, one goal at a time. I just want to get active and modify my eating behavior. If weight loss comes as a result, then I will count it as a bonus. Short-term, I would like to lose about 50lbs by May of next year. Long-term, I would like to lose about 100lbs by December of next year. Ultimately I want to develop a healthier lifestyle so I don't pass on my horrible habits to my future babies. I don't want them to suffer under the same things I suffered under because of a lack of discipline and self-control.
My Program:
Enjoying the 5k Your Way programs provided here on SparkPeople. Incorporating HIIT for October and Turbo Jam in November. I will try to always include walking/jogging -- and one day running, into my routine.
