I am on South Beach Diet. I love it, because I don't feel deprived. The food choices are nutritious and filling. It's very easy to follow.

I am from Fredericton NB, Canada. I have a great hubby with 2 kitties and a bunny. We have no children, but we like it that way.

There's lots of information on living a healthy lifestyle and lots of articles on motivation but what's the best - the people! If you go to the 'Community' tab at the top of your page and click on 'SparkPages" you can scroll down and find all manner of people who are on their own journey to better and healthier lives to motivate you!

So have a look around, click on pictures on people's pages, find some teams that will motivate and inspire you and get to Sparking!

Do remember this when setting your goals (and you should set goals - you need to know where you're going if you want to get there): start small, be consistent and never give up. Before you know it, you'll be writing your own recipe for success.

HI Iím one of your co-leaders of the May 18, 2008 class. Iím very glad your found your way to SP. Good for you for already making your Sparkpage!
You have come to the right place for information, support, motivation and ideas. My first advice would be to learn your food/fitness trackers well and then USE them. They will get you and keep you on track. Then find a team or two that meet your goals or interests and then become active on them. Motivating others will certainly motivate you. If you have any questions, just ask through spark mail or give a shout on one of the message boards and someone will come running!! I wish you well on your journey. Good luck
