As if I could do this alone!! Philippians 4:13 & John 15:5

Hi! I'm an overweight mommy, and I want to get healthy for myself and my kids, but MAINLY for God. I want to take care of the body that I've been given, so that I can be the best me I can be! After all, He lives in this temple of mine, and I am not my own. I was bought at a price and should honor God with my body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Any other time I have tried to lose weight....I failed. I never had lasting success. But, this time, I have been successful so long as the focus ...

But, this time, I have been successful so long as the focus has been on God and I have enlisted Him and His help. As long as He remains my coach, motivator, and discipliner, I see positive results. But, the moment I forget that, I backslide. If you want to succeed long term, you just gotta have JESUS - for weight loss, for EVERYTHING!!!!

"The Lord's Table" course has been the biggest help in addressing the spiritual/heart of the issue. If you want to take it and experience true freedom from overeating, go to www.settingcaptivesfree.com (it's FREE!). :)

My Goals:
To be dependent on the Lord for my utmost hunger. Satisfaction is in the fullness of Christ.

My Program:
Submitting to the Lord and being coached and disciplined by Him first and foremost!! I make every effort to stick to the discipline of feeding on God's Word FIRST before I feed my stomach. Since Jesus is first, he must be first in my day and first to nourish me!! :) HE is the reason for my success and the reason that I will be able to KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF!! Right now, I am gearing up to start combat; Les Mills Combat, that is lol! I'm also drinking Shakeology (and having amazing results in weight-loss and inches!). Want to know more? I'm a Team Beachbody coach and would LOVE to be YOUR COACH (and it's FREE!). Contact me! :)

Personal Information:
Just a Christian gal from Indiana. :) Feel free to check out my blogs for tips, support, and motivation!

Happy Thursday! The difference between ‘try’ and ‘triumph’ is just a little umph! I hope you are keeping your eyes set on your goal and working towards it. The groundwork of all happiness is health, When you’re healthy, you’re happy. When losing weight, improving your health should always be your first goal, because good health will see you through to the end. Weight loss through diet and exercise is tough, it does get hard, but when you exert every ounce of will power and self control, you will persevere.

Well it is the end of another week. Enjoy the weekend and relax a bit! I know that this time of year people have some spouts of seasonal depression, and it makes us want to eat things that make us happy, most of those foods are not healthy. Stay on track with your goal and know we are not alone in this, many struggle with depression eating. And with Holidays it is hard to turn away from all the good foods being prepared as tradition. But with will power and faith we can do it. Think small portions, And if you must have the sweet taste that is full of unhealthy calories, taste is the key word. Keep strong, keep on pressing to your goal! emoticon

Well the weekend is here. Let us not forget that we need the rest from a stressful week. But do not loose focus of our goals. Keep on eating healthy and drinking the water. But have fun on the weekends, there is lots of fun activities that we can do that still promotes weight loss. Have a Blessed weekend! emoticon
