Working Towards a Healthier Me & a Family

I'm an almost-30 year old female who is happily married, and is hoping to start a family in the near future. I was diagnosed with PCOS in June of 2012...and am trying to cope with the implications of that diagnosis, combined with my desire to lose weight & start a family.

I am enrolled in Weight Watchers, but am joining SparkPeople due to the larger community support system & the ability to carb-count easier with SparkPeople.

hi there, nice to meet you! well i will tell you a bit about me. i am 28 i have pcos, and i have an undiagnosed medical condition. one of my symptoms is i have been reaction to a lot of foods/allergies. i am also very heat sensitive. i am married to a wonderful man who does so much for me and i am looking to add more foods into my diet to become more healthy. i am going to the allergist on the 19th going to have more allergy tests to see what i can eat and will work with that. i am gonna test for lots of veggies and fruits cause i am scared to eat a lot of things, i eat mostly low carb right now and not intentionally lol but it helps with my low blood sugars also. ughh im a mess! i never use to have allergies actually just to lobster and kiwi. but then i started having a lot of anxiety, chronic hives, and stress and went to the allergist and was told i am a very allergic individual. there is also something called "leaky gut which i suspect i have but doctor dont recorgnize it unless its a holistic doctor. anywho i don't want to bore you so im sorry if you are like wtf? lol but how are you doing? i miss weight watchers i use to do it i loved it. maybe one day i can go back once i get some more answers to my illness. but within 2 weeks now i am down 10 pounds! yay emoticon
