One day at a time

I love this site! I am learning so much about health and nutrition. But more importantly, I am beginning to apply it to my life. For many years, I knew about health but did nothing about it. The time for action has come. I want to LIVE my life from center field not the bleachers. I am also beginning to meet some wonderful people on this site. Thank you all for your welcome, support, and wisdom!

My Program:
I am drinking water and counting my calories each day with the tracker. I am bringing my food to work with me so that I have good choices every day. I am also walking for an hour each day on the treadmill at the YMCA.

Hi!
Absolutely on the right path - getting away from that cafeteria/restaurant food is the way to go for the week. Cardio is also perfect!!
Proud of yah!!
I've lost 14 lbs since Xmas - even my shoes are getting too big - I love it! I've made sure that I'm getting more than enough of protein on a daily basis and that has really helped - carbs make me very hungry and up my body fat so I'm very happy to have my favorite food back into my "diet".
