Starting over [again]...

9/9/15...I'm not changing the title because it still applies. I am starting over once again. So I should probably update my page yet again. I'm currently at my highest weight and it's killing me. I lost 16 pounds a few years ago and was able to keep it off for months. I was so proud of myself. But I gained all that weight back plus more. *sigh* So here I am again starting over. I bought a Fitbit back in June and while I've worn it faithfully and looked at all the data it has collected I haven't ...

I bought a Fitbit back in June and while I've worn it faithfully and looked at all the data it has collected I haven't really used that data towards anything yet. But summer is over, a new school year is starting, time to get back into a routine and time to start working towards my goals again. My average steps per week are about 6,000 steps per day. So instead of working for 10,000 steps I'm starting out at 6,500 steps. I feel like that's a pretty good goal. (Some days I only get around 2-3,000.) For the past few months I've done Zumba once a week with my future sister-in-law. On those days I always get at least 10,000 steps. I plan on continuing Zumba once a week. I'd also like to walk at least twice a week. Those are the things I'm currently working on. Little steps at a time.

I just pop in and out right now, but I do want to get back onto a healthy plan with some exercise. Now that Labor Day is over and summer is winding down, my first step is to cut way back on my beer consumption and start walking more..especially in the cool morning and evening hours.

I'll be looking forward to hearing how you are doing. emoticon emoticon

emoticon Hi, thanks for stopping by and checking in on me. I'm hanging in there...not gaining, which is a good thing, but currently trying to find my motivation again. I know that I'm having seasonal change issues and I just need to adjust to the shorter days and cold weather. How have you been? I hope that all is going great for you emoticon
