Putting Myself First
After a LONG period of time without internet, we have finally joined the land of the online living again....and it's time to get back to business. While I have a million and one things going on in my life right now, I know I have to put myself first right now. It's time. While I have a million and one things going on in my life right now, I know I have to put myself first right now. It's time. When I think back a few years to when I was truly happy with myself physically, mentally, and spiritually I am hit with the fact that I was putting my needs before my family's wants. I was active both in life and with SP...and that is my number one need right now. It's good to be back!!!

My Goals:
My goal ultimately is to be able to pick up my grandchildren someday and enjoy them. Short term, however, I am trying to lose 15 more pounds through healthier eating and a daily walking program
My Program:
The goal: track, track, track!! The foods: low-fat, high fiber and protein, andwhole grains, not to mention water, water, and more water. The exercise: Leslie Sansone DVDs 4-6 times per week.
Personal Information:
I am a 5th/6th grade reading teacher in a fairly small school in northeast Texas. I'm married to a corrections officer and the mother of 2 boys.
Other Information:
I love reading historical fiction--one of the reasons I am needing to lose pounds! I also love spending time with my family and am learning to enjoy exercising more and more every day.
