Learn to be patient with myself....try to break the 'all or nothing' habit into an adventure of sticking with something until finished!
Trying change in baby steps.
Goal for wk #1 Stop drinking diet soda.
1. Portion control, eating what I want but staying in the higher end of my calorie range. 2. Ride my exercise bike for 10 mins five times a week. 3. Live with intention. Say no when I want to, choose wisely and take responsibility for the nutritional decisions I make. 4. Track my intake 5. To learn how to ask for and receive support from others when I need it.
I retired from nursing five years ago and have gained over 60 lbs since my life became more sedentary. I am married to a wonderful supportive man and have a senior pooch who is dying to get out for a walk.
I love travelling, quilting, reading and working in my garden. I used to love walking an hour a day after my shift at work and would love to get to the place where I could do this again without the pain of arthritis.
