Life is too short to put it off.

I'm 34 years old. Since I turned 30, I found myself more frequently stopping to realize that the path I was heading down was not very satisfying. So I threw it all up in the air and am starting from scratch to see what really matters to me. My divorce was final in September 2012, and I'd been feeling a little lost, a little out of control, and way off track. Sweating turns out to be a great way to handle all of that.

I want to be hooked on cardio. I want to be strong. I want to be able to use my body in all of the ways for which it was intended, because the zombies won't wait for me to catch my breath. I want to show my daughter by example that our bodies are made to move. I would love for fitness to show on the outside, but this isn't primarily about weight loss. This isn't a diet for me. There is no finish line. Look out, cuz I'm about to be a badass.

You and me both on the tracking! Makes a huge difference to have to enter everything, doesn't it? Ha. Am determined to do it everyday as what I eat is my downfall. (and what I drink!)
Backpacking was great except I find I cannot sleep like a mummy so we got me a new bag to try out next time.
