Hello...for those of you taking the time to visit my page, let me tell you a little about myself. I am 39, received my Masters in Education in 2011, and have decided I am just plain tired of my body not being able to keep up with me like it used to!
I spent all of my teen years, being in shape and not really worrying about what I ate or did, as I was pretty active. However, in my college years I started gaining weight at a slow but steady pace. In my mid 20's I completed two sessions of Lindora (which worked awesomely). However, when your 132 lbs, you don't think that you actually need to finish the program (which helps you learn how to keep the weight off). Guess what??? YOU DO!! Sooooo, I slowly gained the weight back over the next 4 years, plus about 60 more, above my original weight.
I have spent the last 10 years having mixed emotions about my weight. Now in my late 30’s I KNOW I am fabulous, LOL (no really…I am ☺)… So, my MAIN reason for the goal of once again reaching 130lbs is what, you ask? Well my health, of course! Last year I started going to the gym 2-3 times a week, working out with a trainer. While my diet was not always correct, i kept going to the gym. As a result, my blood pressure is sooo much better and now remains in normal range. However, I still have a lot of weight to lose, and am at risk of needing to go on meds for cholesterol. Well….NO SIR…NOT ME! I’m too young to be on meds…and too young to not be able to do all the things I want to (physically). I will simply lose the weight and be healthy again, permanently. This time I’m going all the way! 130lbs…. here I come! And there is NO stopping me now!!
*Lose 40lbs by Sep. 1st
*Work out at gym 2 days
*Do 30 min. cardio 5 days
* Lose 10lbs min., each following month
* Work out at gym regularly
* Permanently change to
healthier eating habits
* Reach goal of 130 lbs by

I'm a 39yr old elementary (substitute) teacher from Southern California. I have recently made the decision to be done with all this FLAB! I am working towards the removal of the "L" and just being "FAB"! I joined a gym last year in January and worked out 2 days a week all year. I am upping that to 3 days a week this year, as well as trying to do 30 min cardio 5 days a week.
I am an enormous movie fan..anything movies! I'm probably going to lose cool points...but I typically quote at least one movie per day...without trying to (I swear it just seems to have its place in the conversation, lol). I also love to read, and have happily been able to start reading again (since finishing my masters).
Ok...active things I like to do...ummmmm....OH! I love to dance. Unfortunately these days I'm winded after one song...but all that is going to change!
