My Goals:
Amp up the strength training. Muscles burn the fat!

I'm also got my sights on getting under 200 once and for all.

My Program:
I track my food 7 days a week. I drink 8 to 10 glasses of water everyday. I aim to stay in my calorie range

Personal Information:
I'm a 40 year old married mother of two. I work a desk job full time and then go home to do my other job - "Mom" to two boys.

Other Information:
I'm 5'10" and weighed 100 pounds more than what I consider the best 'physical' days of my life. I was a competitive swimmer in high school and wish I was in that kind of shape again. I think of my body as a machine that just needs it's maintenance brought up to speed.

If you are a reader, check out "21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart" by Neal Barnard. Good book and includes plant-based recipes.

That sounds like a very healthy diet you have planned! I always crave chocolate after a couple days of healthy eating. It's hard to stop at just one piece! That is a good buy! Carrots are usually cheap. Have you found any great combinations for juicing? I usually just do carrots, spinach, apples, and pears. I tried beets before but hated the taste!

Thanks for commenting on my chocolate granola quinoa. I just made it today for the 1st time. It has a very dark chocolate taste and is not very sweet. I thought it would be perfect with some greek vanilla yogurt. I am glad to see you too are still going strong on Sparkpeople! Keep on sparking! emoticon
