We lived in NE Pa all our lives, on 9/20/2013 we moved to Bernvile,Pa. (about 75 miles from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. We were married 40 years on 11/22/13. I love animals & We have 2 horses,2 cats and 1 dog. I also love to read and Stephen King is my favorite.

Thanks for the blog comments. It was a lot of driving, the drive out to Texas took several days, taking the scenic route. Then we spent the week in Texas and left for home at 1:45pm Saturday and arrived at 7pm Sunday; 29 hours of driving with stops for gas, bathroom and the occasional Starbucks :)
I got on the scale on Monday morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that I was only 1.6lbs over my last weigh in at the end of August! Now I just have to sleep well for a few more days and lose a little weight and I'll be back to normal!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You are so right that drinking water is a wonderful substitute for a snack. I've been drinking water when I feel like nibbling and it's working for me a lot of the time - and I don't even like water that much but it's healthy.
