I'm back!!

Well, I'm back again to try and lose all the baby weight from my 2 baby girls that I've had over the past 2 years. I wanted to wait until now to come back and really commit to weight loss as I knew I'd be having the 2 babies close together. I have a bit more to lose after this last pregnancy because I never lost all of the baby weight from my first daughter, so here's to getting back on track!

My Goals:
My current goals are:

-lose all of my baby weight and get back to the level of fitness I was at pre-children

-reaching my target weight of 165

-continuing to live a healthy lifestyle in general with lots of exercise and fresh/whole food

My main motivations for this lifestyle change are the following:

I just want to get back to where I was pre-baby so I can keep up with my children and really enjoy life to its fullest!

I also want to be able to keep up with my husband on long, country walks as I really enjoy them, but hate how weak I feel when I can't keep up or go for as long as he can.

Of course I'd also love to look really good naked, so I'll definitely continue to tone once I've lost my desired weight. I just want to be the healthiest I can be so the remainder of my life is as happy as possible!

My Program:
As of now I don't really have a set program because I'm only 2 weeks postpartum, but once I get the all clear from the doc I will be starting to get serious about how I want to accomplish my fitness goals. I'm hoping to get out for daily walks at least 5 days a week and will need to set up a weights program for evenings when my husband is home to look after the baby.

As for nutritional goals, it isn't so much eating less calories but choosing healthier foods to fulfil the amount of calories I need for sustaining longterm breastfeeding, so this time around a lot less sweets and a lot more veg and fruit I think!

My name is Therese and I'm from Minnesota in the US. I've lived in England off and on since September 2005, but I finally married my British hubby in Sept 2007 and have lived here permanently since then. I absolutely love it here more and more, but I do dearly miss my family and friends back home! We have our own little family here now though (2 daughters - a newborn and 2-yr-old) so life is much fuller than when I first joined SP!

Hi there - I was just popping by your page to see how you are doing - congrats on the birth of your daughter - I imagine you are knee deep in nappies now!! My sister also had a girl - Rose on the 4th March - 10 days overdue!!
