Rose's World
Hi, my name is Rose.
I'm 55 and have fought my weight for almost 25 years now, since putting on over 100lbs in 15 months. I suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol (both controlled by meds), an underactive thyroid, and some physical disability due to sciatica, osteoporosis and a knee and hip both needing replacement.
My goal is to lose 162lbs to get back to what was my "normal" weight for 15 years, and hopefully be able to stop taking most of my meds. ...

However, I LOVE my life! I have 2 acres of land and share it with my hubby, 3 cats, 5 dogs, 4 goats, and numerous chickens. I am blessed with many friends all over the world, have 3 children and 9 grandchildren, and am in my element now.
I love history, write poetry, enjoy reading thrillers of all sorts, am a strong believer in early childhood education and that childhood should be a magical time.

My goals with Avon, are to get a new vehicle (got Sebastian, my Land Rover Discovery II in August 2007!!! YAY!) , pay for new china cabinets for my country kitchen and new windows for the whole house. I also want to make Executive Unit Leader by Christmas of 2011.
My new goals with AVON are to end this year with full-time incomes from part-time work, and to get all our bills paid off.

For now, counting calories and moving a bit more. I have hip, knee and back probs so energetic exercise is out of the question right now. I''m trying to make sure and do SOMETHING every day though.
