Hi everyone! My name is Lauren and I just became engaged to the love of my life. My wedding is December 3, 2011 and before I get married, I want to overhaul my whole outlook on fitness and nutrition. I have about 30 pounds to lose to reach my healthy goal weight. I managed to lose 40 pounds 3 years ago and I've kept that weight off this whole time. However, I'm still only halfway there! I realized the only thing keeping me from reaching my goals was myself. I would start an exercise regimen and eat healthy foods for a few weeks at a time and then give up as soon as a "special occasion" arose. Additionally, I found that I could make a "special occasion" out of anything! This time around, I want to get serious about losing the weight, not just to look good, but more importantly, to be healthy! I want to be a healthy bride, a healthy wife, and eventually, a healthy mother!
