Just a note to thank you and everyone who took the time and effort to respond to my recent blog titled “IF SparkPeople IS SO GOOD, WHY AM I NOT THIN?” The response is overwhelming and I am literally surprised and very proud as well. It is people like y’all that make it all worthwhile.
I have added you as a friend and I hope you don’t mind.
I have a feeling that you will make your goal to be a body builder. I spent way too many years being a body wrecker (mine).
Saw your comment on the Fast food vs. Healthy Food blog.
At the bottom of the article it said -- "(Grocery prices from Wal-Mart and Meijer in Noblesville, Indiana, and Cincinnati, Ohio; fast food prices from the greater Indianapolis and Cincinnati areas, 2010)".
That makes the prices quite a bit out of date since that is around the time when food prices started to go up substantially. But, the comparison still has quite a bit of truth to it.
Fortunately (I think), I live in an area where it is at least thirty minutes to the nearest fast food joint. That takes a lot of the temptation for fast food away. I still don't do the frozen meal thing, I am too used to cooking my own meals, healthy or not...
