Just Me...I Don't Know What Else to Put Here!

Hi, I'm Ashley. I just turned 30 and am a single mom of 3. 1 child has special needs so it's hard for me to justify taking time for myself to do anything. As I'm getting older I'm starting to feel how much my weight is affecting me.

I'd like to meet some great people that can help keep me accountable. I'm not a "get up and go" person and I need help to stay on track.

My Goals:
I would love to lose 80 pounds by my birthday (September 2) and run a Tough Mudder competition in October. I want to take up spinning and yoga but feel my weight will hold me back, so am trying to lose a little on my own first.
I need to be healthy for my children, point blank.

My Program:
I joined SparkPeople because I don't have a program and would like help with one. I need to be held accountable.

Personal Information:
Single 30 year old mom of 3. My daughter Audrey is 11 and my princess, my son Michael is 10 and is my man of the house, Hayden is 8 and my spoiled brat baby. :)
Michael has Asberger's Disease so it is difficult to justify taking time for myself, but I've decided my health is important enough.

Other Information:
I am a huge bookworm.
I am an analytical, yet artistic person. Yeah, try explaining that to people.
I love biology and would love to finish my undergrad in biology, then go to med school to be a doctor. I might need to settle for being a nurse.
I make soap from lye and oil, I crochet, and love to write. I am in the beginning stages of writing a science fiction novel that I (literally) dreamt up.
