Welcome and thanks for visiting my page. I joined Sparkpeople in December 2008. Thanks God I did it. I have to admit that my journey for a new and healthy life has been more difficult than I expected. There have been up and downs, losses and gains. But I am standing strongÖ

I've been overweight almost all my life. When I see my pictures albums I think how I have been living my life. Eating all I wanted, unhealthy and not so happy... That's is not life! But now I am on my way to be fit, happy and healthy.

During my journey I have learned that...
- I must plan my meals and workouts
- There is no valid excuse to skip a workout. I can exercise anywhere. Thanks GOD for the Internet!!!
- If I donít take care of me, nobody will.
- It is all about ME.
- I have to eat slow and enjoy my meals.
- My eating habits will impact my sonís life.
- I must take time to rest and sleep.
- Rewarding myself for weight loss is valid only if the reward is not food.
- I have to focus in making right choices when eating out.
- I have to live day by day. ENJOY my life.
- I must remember to ďSTOP, DROP AND ROLLĒ - This means: STOP eating, DROP what you are eating and ROLL away from the area the food is. (Thanks SASI_QUEEN.)
- You will always meet great people at SP.
- Slow is better for long lasting results.
- I got to be consistent.
- Itís possible to get a better life.
- When I feel without motivation, JUST KEEP MOVING.
- I am NOT alone in this journey.
- Controlling food serving size and avoiding processed food improves my health.

-Eat whole and less processed foods
