So I've been on and off with sparkpeople for about 5 years and in that time I've gone from 200 to 160. I've logged hundreds of miles as I trained for and completed my first marathon. Now, a new chapter begins as I am pregnant for the first time ever and at age 35 I'm envisioning some life changes for me. (I think that's probably an understatement) I'm trying not to eat for 2 but rather just make good choices and stay active through walking and light weights. I want to have a healthy baby ...

I want to have a healthy baby without ending up where I started 5 years ago. I'm going to be conscientious and diligent and do my best. My new ticker is now a countdown to my due date and not a reminder of how I'm continually gaining weight :)

Just saw your message! Glad the Tums have been helpful. Also, I recently tried Alka Seltzers brand and they work pretty well. Plus they're gummyish and fruity. I'm getting back on track today. Doing mostly vegan meals. I've counted it up and if I lose 2 lbs a week, I'll be at my goal weight by Dec. 1 with enough time to find a wedding dress for mid-January. (Just in case) I'm behind again in school work! So I have a somewhat stressful week but once I get caught up all should be well. I don't have anymore trips or anything planned for a while. I hope you and Mollie are feeling well! How's the exercise going at this point? Do you feel too big to move? Ha! Love and miss you!

So glad you're feeling better!! Stomach bugs are the worst. I've been struggling a bit this week diet wise. I allowed myself a cheeseburger, fries, and a few alcoholic beverages (Irish Car Bombs) for St. Pats Monday night. And now I'm struggling to pull myself back together. It shouldn't be so difficult but I think I really am an addict. But anyways, everything is good so far today.

So... Looks like I'll be seeing you in a few weeks. Someone is having a baby shower and I would never miss it! emoticon

Hey girl! Yes, I'm done with my cleanse. As of this morning, I'm down 8 lbs in 9 days. I'm back to real food but am trying to keep it really healthy and mostly vegan with a little cheat here and there. Unfortunately, 8 lbs down and my pants are no looser but I'm just going to keep it up. School work is crazy this week but next week I'm planning to start working out again and then I might let myself start eating a little more. But the cleanse was beneficial. It helped quell my food addiction for now.

How are things with you? Did you workout 4 times last week?? emoticon

I just spent a ridiculous amount of money on a Blue Print cleanse. Hoping it will be the swift kick in the pants I need. It's my tax return gift to myself. Anyways, hope you're well! emoticon
