*I should probably update this now. I will be 24 in a couple weeks. Scary but true. Not much as changed in the weight loss journey. I continue to try and eat healthy foods, but I occasionally have my downfalls but that doesn't stop me. I've gone down from a size 18 to a size 10/12. I'm looking forward to the day when I'm down to one digit pant sizes. A size 8 would be nice. Once I reach that goal, I think I'll stop there with the weight loss. As for most people, losing ...

As for most people, losing weight has also been a spiritual journey. I'm not so concerned with my outer appearance (although I do admit I become disappointed when certain items of clothing don't fit right on me). Personal growth has become a goal of mine. I want to be in tune and in sync with my inner self and to respect the body and mind I do have. Losing weight hasn't been easy. It didn't come off over night. I think what has worked for me is the fact that I've done all of this slowly. It's taken me 3+ years to drop about 40 lbs off. At times, I wish things would move along a little faster, but then again I haven't had to deal with sagging skin. So I'm content for now. Feel free to leave a message anytime! :)

My Goals:
HW:185?? (Perhaps higher) LW:145.5 CW:145.5 GW:125-130 -I would love to lose 10 lbs before the New Year! -Also, I hope to slim down to fit perfectly in my dream wedding sari/dress. -Go Salsa dancing more often!
My Program:
Basically I count calories, and try to add more veggies. However, I've hit a plateau and my weight hasn't budged for a few weeks. I know that I need to add more cardio (so busy in school and work though), and cut out some carbohydrates to give my body a shock, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Personal Information:
I love to travel. So far, I've been to 9 countries, not including the United States. I have also visited over half the United States. I'm somewhat fluent in German and go salsa dancing quite often. I just moved to the DC metro area and looking for great places to dance! :)
