I have always been involved in fitness during my life. When I was younger I was a bike racer, a weight lifter and a karate practitioner. After I married my wife I let things slide until one day I realized that I didn't want to be overweight and full of health problems. So, I dusted off my bike (and got it tuned up), started going again to the gym, and now I'm running! My goal is to finish my first marathon this year and to compete in a triathlon next year!

My Goals:
I would like, in the course of this year, to:

1. Drop 40 lbs
2. Run a marathon (with a stretch goal of running one around 4 hours)
3. Ride about 150 miles per week again
4. Spend more time with my family
5. Be more active in my community.


My Program:
I have been running for several months now and have started doing P90X as well. I run the long runs on Sundays (when the weather permits) and typically run anywhere from 5 - 7K at least two or three times per week. In addition I have cut out all of the junk I used to eat (including diet sodas) and have become a vegetarian (and I'm considering going all the way and being a vegan).

My name is Ido Dubrawsky and I currently live in the Silver Spring area of Maryland. I work for a company that is focused on Smart Grid technologies and I travel extensively for work. I'm a vegetarian (not a vegan though at the present time - I'm working on this), an avid runner, cyclist, beekeeper, organic gardener and bookworm.
