How did I get this fat?
I was in great shape for most of my life and then, over the last few years, I got lazy and sedentary. Oh, and did I mention I love food? Yeah, that's a recipe for cellulite and thunder-thighs. One day I saw a picture of myself and thought, "Who's the cow? Oh crap, that's me!" So now I am on a mission to lose my double-chin and cankles. Seriously, I am a pretty girl but nobody looks good with cankles, damn it! ;o)

My Goals:
Overall I'd like to lose 72 pounds, but my monthly goal is 5-8 pounds. Hovever, while I am doing the weight loss competition at the gym, I would like to lose about 3 pounds per week.
My Program:
1. Cardio: 4-5 days/wk 2. Toning: 2 days/wk 3. Try to take the stairs wherever possible, unless I am wearing heels, in which case, I know better. (Yes I have fallen down stairs before! ;o)
Personal Information:
I live in Houston, TX with a wonderful husband and awesome son! We have two dogs and two cats, and hopefully one day God will bless us with more children.
Other Information:
I used to be in greart shape - I ran 3-5 miles several days per week, I did the MS-150 (2-day, 180-mile bike ride from Houston to Austin) 5 years in a row, and then one day I just stopped doing all of that. Taking care of myself was not as much of a priority for some reason, and I know now that I have to be healthy if I want to be around for my son and teach him to be healthy.
